Because we are an  independent bookstore, our staff truly cares about what we sell. If you inquire, you will get an informed and honest opinion, and if we don’t know the answer, we will try to find someone who does. If you need help in finding a book or item to serve your needs, we will assist you with that, as well.

We have a large selection of books and gifts

for customers ranging from those who are just beginning their studies to the seasoned scholar or professional. We offer weekly Tarot readings as well. There are various events happening each month. Take a look at our calendar below to see what's going on.

I love Quest Bookshop. Raphael is the best tarot reader. He's been doing my cards for years and he's very accurate. He helped me find a ring that I lost in my house. Now that's cool! I also love their assortment of divination materials, jewelry, and other interesting stuff. It's one of the very few shops like this still around in the city. Definitely go and check it out!

What a charming shop! It was so hard to find a place that carried hanging crystals in NYC. Not only did they have a delightful selection of affordable "rainbow-makers," but they also carried my favorite incense (that I also have a hard time finding in NYC). There's a wonderful variety of books, dream catchers and many metaphysical treasures. I only popped in to get the crystals and can't wait to find new excuses to go back!

This is a great place with great energy. Very honest people and the best selection of Tarot cards in the city and most of them are cheaper then you can get on Amazon. Nothing but great things happen here.
